Kithulgala Adventures
Boasting adventure sports, Kitulagala River is the best location for water sports. It’s a small town located amid tickly forest hills. It was once a filming place for David Lean’s 1957 Oscar-winning epic “Bridge on the River Kwai” on the banks of Kelani River. White water rafting is where you can ride the tides of the Kelani River under the guidance of experienced guides and trainers. Other than that, it’s popular for sports like confidence jump, Stream Sliding, Waterfall abseiling, and Jungle trekking. Bird watching, cave exploration and last but not least river trips and expeditions.

This small town is nestled amidst thickly forested hills and was once the filming location for David Lean’s Oscar-winning epic, “Bridge on the River Kwai,” in 1957, set on the banks of the Kelani River.
